Window Cleaning FAQs

Got questions about booking a clean? These window cleaning FAQs cover pricing, service areas, booking, and how often you should get your windows done. If you can’t find what you’re after here, get in touch and I’ll answer directly.

How much does window cleaning cost?

Every job is different, so there isn’t one set price for window cleaning. I base the price on the size and scale of the job, plus a few other factors:

  • Number and size of the windows
  • Condition of the glass
  • Access to the windows
  • Height and difficulty of the job
  • Whether you want the frames cleaned
  • Whether fly screens need to be removed and cleaned
  • How much dirt, dust or buildup there is
  • Whether furniture needs to be moved to access the windows
  • Your location

Because every property is different, I prefer to look at the job and give you a fair and accurate price based on what actually needs to be done rather than quoting a price without having seen the job. I want my customers happy, so if you have a specific request, budget or concern, let me know and I’ll tailor the job to suit.

What areas do you service?

I provide window cleaning throughout Melbourne. If you’re not sure whether I service your area, just contact me and ask.

How do I get a quote or book a clean?

Getting a quote is simple. Send through an enquiry with your name, phone number and suburb. Include a brief description of what you’d like cleaned, and I’ll respond the same day.

From there, I’ll either send a quote based on what you’ve told me, or arrange a time to come and look at the job in person if needed.

Once I send your quote, there’s no pressure to book straight away. I’ll simply give you a copy to keep, so you can come back to it when the time is right.

Ready to book? I’ll reserve a priority spot and find a time that suits your schedule. No pressure, no complicated process, just a straightforward quote and booking.

How often should I have my windows cleaned?

How often you need your windows cleaned depends on your property and its location. Properties near the ocean or salt water collect salt, dirt and buildup much faster. So these homes usually need more frequent cleaning.

For most properties, I recommend cleaning your windows every 3–6 months. This keeps them looking their best and stops dirt and buildup from becoming harder to remove over time.

If you don’t need them cleaned that often, I still recommend a clean at least once a year to keep them maintained. If you’re unsure what your property needs, get in touch — I can recommend a schedule based on your location and the current condition of your windows.
